Purchase Terms

DeadScroll ("DEADSCROLL," "we," or "us") is an independently operated product based in India. By starting a paid plan through Google Play, you agree to these Purchase Terms, the Privacy Policy, and applicable Google Play terms. Statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.

DEADSCROLL is free until the app estimates that it has helped you reclaim your first hour. The estimate assigns three minutes to each qualifying intervention that is followed by a qualifying exit from a selected app. Twenty qualifying exits form the first estimated hour.

This is a deliberately conservative behavioral estimate, not exact time tracking, a medical claim, or a guarantee of future results.

When that first estimated hour is reached, a disclosed 24-hour decision period begins, shown in the app as the 24-hour courtesy. Protection continues during that window while you choose, and the app reminds you before it ends. When it expires, continuing protection requires an active Monthly Protection subscription, a One-Time Unlock, or another disclosed grant of access such as a referral reward.

The localized price, currency, taxes, billing period, trial eligibility, and offer terms shown in the Google Play purchase interface at the time of purchase control. DEADSCROLL does not calculate or substitute a different checkout price.

If Google Play shows that you are eligible for a seven-day trial or another promotion, the exact offer shown at checkout applies. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to the displayed paid monthly price and continues to renew each month until cancelled.

Eligibility is determined by Google Play and may be limited to eligible accounts, countries, products, or prior-purchase history. A promotional offer does not change the ordinary renewal terms shown at checkout.

DEADSCROLL may offer a referral programme inside the app. You can send a referral pass to another person. A pass is valid for fourteen days from the moment it is created, and it can be claimed by one installation only.

When a claimed pass reaches a qualified activation, as verified by DEADSCROLL's servers, both the sender and the receiver are granted seven days of protection. Each installation can be rewarded once, whether as a sender or as a receiver. Repeat rewards to the same installation are not granted.

Rewarded days are a promotional grant, not a purchase. No payment is taken, no Google Play order is created, and they are therefore not refundable, not restorable through Google Play, and not transferable to another device or account. They do not renew and do not convert into a subscription. When the seven days end, access returns to whatever state would otherwise apply.

We may withhold, withdraw, or revoke a pass or a reward where we reasonably detect self-referral, automation, manufactured installations, or other abuse of the programme, and we may change or end the programme at any time. Ending the programme does not affect a paid subscription or a completed One-Time Unlock.

All Android purchases covered by these terms are processed through Google Play. Google handles payment methods, authentication, receipts, applicable checkout taxes, renewal charging, and payment recovery. DEADSCROLL does not receive or store your full card or bank-account details.

You can manage or cancel Monthly Protection through Google Play Subscriptions. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless Google Play or applicable law provides otherwise, protection remains available until the end of the already-paid billing period and no new monthly charge is made after that date.

Uninstalling DEADSCROLL does not cancel a subscription. Cancelling a subscription does not delete local app data.

Google Play may provide a payment grace period or place a subscription on account hold after a renewal failure. DEADSCROLL may continue protection during a verified grace period. If Google Play reports that paid access is paused, expired, refunded, revoked, or on account hold, protection may enter the disclosed cold state until entitlement is restored.

Updating payment or completing a valid purchase restores protection after Google Play and DEADSCROLL securely verify the entitlement. Short offline verification interruptions may use a limited last-known-access window and will be reconciled later.

Refund eligibility is governed by Google Play's refund process and applicable law. Start with Google Play's refund request. If Google Play directs you to the developer or more than 48 hours have passed, contact product@deadscroll.app with the issue and your non-sensitive purchase information; never email a card number or purchase token.

A refund, chargeback, revocation, or reversal may remove the corresponding entitlement. Nothing here limits a mandatory statutory remedy.

Eligible purchases can be restored on Android using the same Google Play account that made the purchase. Restoration may require internet access and secure verification. A different Play account may not see the purchase.

Android purchases do not transfer to iOS or another app store. Local progress and configuration may be restored through supported Android backup or device-transfer services, but backup availability is controlled by Android, the device, and the user's settings.

We may update DEADSCROLL and these terms for product, security, legal, billing, or platform reasons. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be communicated as required by law or Google Play policy. We will not retroactively describe a recurring subscription as a one-time purchase.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer law, disputes are subject to the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
